A common problem on golf course greens around the world is the hardening of the surface layer.
By means of our new surface aeration unit, it is possible to improve the quality of the green during the playing season through continuous aeration—nor do the aeration traces hinder the game. The unit may be used on a weekly basis.
Breaking up of the surface after the planting of seedlings helps the shoots to spread more evenly; similarly, the absorption of fertilizers and water into the rootage is facilitated. Aeration undertaken prior to sowing improves seed contact with the earth. This unit has been developed by a group of Finnish specialists. Connection readiness to several machines, such as CUSHMAN, without an intermediate stem and most lifters with three-point linkage. We also assemble the connection in accordance with the client’s needs. A knife aeration and dressing brush unit can be connected to the same Silverbull basic frame.
The spacing and depth of the star-shaped blades is 35 mm: as required, the star-shaped blades are available with different spacing. Our triple unit construction ensures a good work finish—also for contoured greens: operational width 1.8 m. Please note: collection equipment for range balls as well as cutting machine blades made of special steel are available from us. The lifetime respective to such blades is approximately three times that of traditional models.
